i know i have a history of explaining myself poorly
and i had hoped that my multi-decade participation in this community would buy me enough benefit of the doubt that i wouldn't have to try
but if that's not true, i don't mind laying it out. do you think it makes sense to create a thread for this, or would that invite a pitchfork mob?
my strong preference is to just make a long, beautifully-contoured stilepost about it and then not discuss it further,
just because i know from experience that further discussion = more confusion

I'm not really sure wtf is going on
but if it's something you want to do, stile,
feel free to make your thread
and we'll just trust this group to keep their wits about them
and be constructive/not destructive.
