Shopping for a mattress and a swear to god, every single mattress review aggregate is evenly split down the middle. Half the people report back their mattress is like sleeping in angel's bosom and the other half claim it dissolved their spine and anus in acid overnight. "Professional" reviewers aren't all that consistent, either.

What do you folks like?

Novaform memory foam from Costco. I think we got our king for $600-800? It's REAL comfortable. Kind of firm but obviously as memory foam it molds to your body.

I think I'm on some memory foam Amazon affair from like 11 years ago.
The big upgrade for me was 1) nice sheets (Ralph Lauren percale fr no cap) and 2) adjustable base (Nectar that I bought busted and fixed).
But I also am a champion sleeper without many issues,
so if you have sleep challenges you may have to dig deeper.

I got one about a year ago from purple.com and finally went for a king size. No ragerts.
It's got a grid on it that they say people either really love, or really hate. I love it.

i got a king foamer from zinus rhymes with penice back when they just formed and were advertising for big discounts on conans pod thing. It was kind 2hunny then added a fat memory foam topper to make it cloudlike.

i built a cheap elevated frame for it so the monsters have a place to sleep too 🥹🥹

it's been v v good to me

i think im going to resume looking at robot mowers

i used to use mowing as an excuse to get outside, drink a beer, and get away from everyone for an hour or two once a week, but i am running out of time in the day and it ends up becoming a stressful rush job that i dont enjoy anymore

a buddy of mine has a luba. i need to see if his held up after the first season

anyone have any luck or tried them?

What's your ideal indoor humidity and can/do you keep track of it and/or manage it?

I'm between humidifier and dehumidifier seasons right now.

No. I rarely think about it except deep winter time when I wake up sneezing with a dry nose. I have a small humidifier in the bedroom now that i either ignore or let run until it goes dry then I ignore. Other than that I never think about it.
