Guys. Almost missed our plane. It was supposed to leave out of gate 7. And then it got delayed several
Time. They said it would be leaving at 9:55 at gate 18. So we go all the way to gate 18. My mom was having a hard time because she’s having trouble with her legs. Any way. We get to gate 18. And I get an email. Plane is now leaving at 9 at the original gate. My mom was having such a hard time and no one would help us. I finally asked a police officer and he used his golf cart and drove us. We just made it.

Had a tornado come through town, right through my apt complex. Sometime between 3-4pm and we still have no power. All of my devices are dying. I thought something was going to come crashing through my patio doors. Sounded crazy. A whole lot of stuff around town got effed up.

Yesterday I almost bumped myself from a flight for $800. The new flight would have routed me through ATL, which apparently had a mega meltdown yesterday. People landing there and stuck on planes on the tarmac for 12+ hours. People sleeping in the airport because planes can't board or unload. Flight crews timing out. A complete shitshow.

3 years ago we had a nasty twirly boi rip right through west Little Rock. Th path was a mile from my house. Very scary.
Even now when I'm in the areas it went through, places I've been hundreds of times, it's difficult to understand where I am because the landscape is so different.

And it's crazy because there are no trees, so you'll be there at a stop sign or whatever and look over far away and be like, "huh, I guess that is where that is in relation to here" but it was something you never really thought about before because you could only see a hundred feet before trees blocked your view.
