Fuck ice.

I just thought about that scene a few days ago.
My daughter went with her friends to see a movie this afternoon. They all brought blankets with them. They said everyone does it. And I'll be damned if I didn't see people walking out with blankets. I have never heard or seen this in my life.
Blankets to a movie. Yeah, that's a new one. Jesus.
Computer is saying a high of -12 on Friday. Come on, man.
if you’re gonna be in the negs, could they shift to using lower and lowest?
calling -12 a high is just insulting

Every single teen and younger has a blanket at this theater. When did this become a thing.
they need their blankeys to calm their anxiety from leaving the house

I saw Avatar a few weeks ago at Rosedale and there were zero blankies. Myth busted.
We went to a flick when we visited our son in Illinois last summer. The theater had those ridiculously plush fully reclining seats, and all the younger people going in were toting blankets and pillows. I had never seen that before.
They've been selling blankets in the concession line for years round these parts.
I saw a movie in theaters on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
11.5 hours of movies

When I go to the movies I turn into a blanket. Been doing it for ten thousand years.
When I go to bed I love having a blanket to keep me warm.
I just don't want it touching me.

When I go to the blanket, I become a movie.
Pro tip: blankets get into the movies for free. Have your blanket get the ticket and take you.
once we were old enough to drink, every movie from then on was nap time. really coulda used a blanket back then
that was 470 million years ago, tho

ive been tossing around the idea of getting an ice bath for whatever stupid reason

Theaters are gonna start renting blankies.
protip: theater blanket rentals are expensive. save money by buying enough popcorn (extra butter) to cover your person instead. the butter helps retain heat and it acts as a nice smelling blanket
bonus tip: when the movie is over you can eat your blanket

Go as a group and you can take turns licking the butter off each... nm.
Hang on. If you're butter'd up, aren't you likely to slide out you are seat?
I think blankets at movies is a gag that generation is pulling. They don't even go to movies.
I guess I didn't think about it, but that theater is one of those with the big cushy recliners. I could see a blanket there, but not in one of those traditional seat sticky floor places.
I thought all theaters had the recliners now. Except maybe the ones in podunks.
traditional movie theater seats were like metal folding chairs welded together in ultra compact rows
sometimes they had anti sleep spikes so you didn’t miss the movie
yeah, us olds were p hardcore

Be careful mumbling "you betcha" at people, because some people hear "you bitch" and won't be convinced otherwise
Learned the hard way
I am in NC and they are saying up to 17” of snow. Last year we got about a half inch and the whole city shut down. If we get what they are predicting, it will be worse than the apocalypse here, and I will need to move again…damnit!
At this rate, Wenchie will be in Mexico by Christmas!
wtf my weather app says 4" of snow on Friday and 23" Saturday.
That would be by far the most snow I've ever seen in MY LYF!
We would not recover from that.

That's a healthy dumper of snow.
Especially for NC. I left NH to get away from this type of weather

Yeah, probably more than NH is getting. Seems like the longer I stay here, the more snow they get.

This makes me laugh. I already had an old neighbor who wants me to pick her (and her dog) up to stay with me once the first snowfall hits. 😂😂
You will be fine. I doubt we will get much snow. 🥴
my weather app is calling for 18.5 inches over Sunday and Monday
Dang. We're potentially going to get a good dumper too, but we'll see. These things have a way of not happening.
everybody post dumper pics

Maybe a foot. But that's still a big maybe.
