Generally being on the roof of a place in winter is not a great thing in the midwest, because there will be snow, and a lot of it.
But this place is an exception. It's a steel foundry, so it's always like 200 degrees inside. And the giant pipes I'm going to scan on the roof of the foundry are usually about 800 degrees. The plant will be offline for a couple days, so I have to do it then.

We were playing one of those fill-in-the-blank card games (apples to apples, cards against humanity, terrible therapist, joking hazard), and one of the cards referenced goatse.
And us 40+ old folks giggled. But the <30 people weren't familiar. At all. Not even with tubgirl, which I remember we went on an asshole-streak years ago to hassle LadyA by acting like there was nothing wrong with it...

Fair State was a pretty great brewery. There was a lot of shenanigans with them being bought out by a corporate entity and not communicating with their shareholders. The tap room is closed, but I guess you can still buy their beers that are still being brewed. I really like their Pils.
Last week when I flew back home from ATL-MSP the guy next to me just raw dogged the whole trip. Sat right there in the middle seat for almost 3 hours. Never once touched his phone. Seatback monitor off. No headphones. Staring blankly straight ahead for the 2:42 it took to fly. Just straight NPC behavior for almost 3 hours.
It was unsettling.
