"Sorry Vince no dialog? We're just going to watch him putter around the mall? Im going to spend money for black and white closeups and ambiant noises? Vince, you're a Golden Globe winner and all but this isn't what I expected.. I'm looking for Saul fast talking to get out of being murdered. That's not until the end of the season?
I noticed some of that in Pluribus too.

I don't know why they needed a third season of Euphoria at this point.
I mean, I'll watch it.
i just saw the trailer...seems like they've gone real widdershins with it; seems like a different show completely and you know good for them i guess
i remember criticizing it a lot but will probably still see what it's up to when it returns
The Pitt 2x2 seems to suffer the same reverb issue as the first.
One of the funnier episodes, though.

I am having a good time with Johnny Knoxville hosting Fear Factor: House of Fear.
Ely likes it too but honestly both of us would watch Johnny play Solitaire on the changing table in an LAX restroom.

That Reboot show he was in a couple years back was good. I was shocked it didn't get a second season.
Welcome to Jackass.
Man, there's a new movie coming out? Buh why?
Just finished Murderbot. It was a fun watch the whole way through.
Primal 3x2 was excellent. This show is hitting so hard for me. Throughout the series,
the conveyance of emotion without the use of words has been really well done.
Tense, brutal, emotional. I kinda love everything about it.

I really liked Common Side Effects. For some reason I thought it was like a limited series or something, not an ongoing series. I really hope they get a season 2.
started some random british hbo show industry about sexy bankers maybe?
i want to say it tries too hard but so far some of the characters are intresting

Excellent atmosphere in that show
tense and gross and beautiful
but i think i commented on this show when it came out on the slorum so i can't quote me
but it was something like
It's great .... But I'm not sure we need this show
and/or maybe it's perfect for this moment in time

The Pitt is really emphasizing reverb and hand sanitizer use and humor this season.
Sill like it a lot.

I started rewatching Mad Men for the first time ever.
I'm pretty much hooked again its sort of awesome just knowing the train wreck in store for all of them.
Also everything about Don is funnier the second time around when his wife is like "so where did you grow up anyway" and he's like "What does it matter dammit Betty" and then apologizes after like 10 whiskeys
Yelling at your family because alcoholism is funny stuff right guys

i did that recently and it was funny to me just how not great it was the second time around.
first season or so was great, but it just sort of fell from there and I'm not really sure why. I think Dons character is just kind of one dimensional in a lot of ways despite all the mystery they try to bake in as the son of a pros. Roger is good the whole way through and i think I'd rather see a series built around him.

i remember thinking Don's character just sort of coasts for the last like 2/3 of the series at the time because what can you really do with him?. He either succeeds or just dies but his character is just too strong and well-suited for his world that there's no way to even really make it so you're that worried about him
at least that's what i remember feeling.
I could also just watch a whole series of just Roger buzzing into each person's office, sucking down 2 whiskeys, dropping a handful of one liners, and then buzzing off to the next office

I'm trying to catch up on Good Girls but I have to keep skipping back episodes to remember what dumb shit one or all of them did that landed them in the current predicament.
It seems a truism that if you're going to delve into a criminal project, the first thing you should do is stop having sex with anyone.
Unless you're Mary Louise Parker in Weeds; for some reason she can bang her way out of anything.

I don't think I made it through season three.
Which was a bummer because the concept for the opening theme was pretty neat.
Not even Kevin Nealon could save it from Justin Kirk showing up.

I forgot about Kirk and I don't remember whether I liked him or not.
Not sure how many seasons I made it through.

He was the older son and he looked like he had a rough one every time he appeared in an episode and this is on me but he gave serious Jeremy Sisto In Six Feet Under and it was like you seem unwell can you just make up your mind already.

Also started this. I like it!
Totally different feel than GOT and House of Dragons. Same but different.
Lighter, brighter, funnier with legitimate comedic editing and beats.
However, the episodes feel very short -- and not a lot of movement is made. How long is this series supposed to be?
The character development is pretty fantastic, but sheesh let's move this thing along.
For 30-40 minute episodes, the desire to wait an entire week for the next fix is pretty lacking.
GIANT old man hog in the opening of Episode 2 made me lol.
It's so gratuitous you think it'll be mentioned in the dialogue or will be some sort of minor plot point -- and alas, it is not.
If you're a GOT fan -- this is must watch.
I mean, sure, seems like a good dude.Anyone else cheering for Ser Duncan the Tall?
But that's the problem with prequels and intermediate stories, like "I don't remember seeing or hearing about them in the stuff I already watched."
Kind of like when I was thirty minutes into Rogue One (2016) and I bowed my head and said to Ely, "None of these people are in the Trilogy."
Also when we were three episodes into Yellowjackets S1 and I started tearing up and said "Where's Grown-Up Jackie?" but that was a different emotional tenor.
As far as I know, his only mentioning is when shithead Joffrey is trying to shame Jaime as a shitty knight by reading the Kingsguard book of accomplishments to him, and he says, "Ser Dunc -- FOUR pages for Ser Dunc!"
Not to derail, but Ser Jaime said there were three knights in the realm that could best him and I always wondered if a consensus was ever obtained.
I don't remember the quote. Living knights? Or of all time?
1. The knight that Ned stabbed from behind was said to be the GOAT.
2. Ser Barriston, maybe?
3. The mountain?

Wait, did Ned or Reed stab Dayne from behind?
He was double-wielding, which was terrifying.
Barriston makes sense but generous read I think Jaime fears him because he's a better person.
I think Jaime would think that he could get the better of the Mountain but also because he's a better person.
Like you deserve to win if you're better which has a weird twisted up thing with nobility and virtue that is laid bare in the stories.

i kinda like that weird limbo area of prequels and inbetweenquels and the freedom it can afford, at least in some cases.
it's definitely not always used to great effect, particularly in star wars in large part due to how much baggage they're constantly carrying around, but rogue one worked well for me.
i liked that they took some shit that didn't matter at all in the larger story and turned it into this side story of these nobody dirtbags sacrificing themselves for a larger cause, and also because they got that dawg in em.
but when they use it to be like this is the story of how blorpus bingo got his cape and hat and ended up exactly where he started, yeah get the fuck on with that.
i don't care about anything enough to watch that kind of garbage, which does seem to be most of that kind of film.

Rogue One definitely worked, to great effect, in large part because it brought the war to ground but also it was like "Frick... they only get to be heroes once", and that was rough.
But yeah doing it to mill IP is horseshit and people who defend it "You have to understand the economics underlying the Galactic Senate" no I don't get drunk and climb the fire escape we're trying to watch a movie.

and nobody really knew or cared that much. such a bright light in an otherwise dim franchise.Frick... they only get to be heroes once
as far as TV show prequels the only ones i can remember right now are Andor (great), Alien Earth (probably fine but i don't like it), and Star Trek: Enterprise (fine).
i've also only seen TNG and most of that was half watched while high so i don't know how much of Enterprise is callbacks or references to Trek shit. i don't think i finished it, either, but i got through most of it.
they should do a picard prequel where we slog through 4 seasons of trash to find out why he likes tea, earl grey, hot and says "make it so"
Strange New Worlds and Discovery are prequels also.
Um Caprica that BSG sequel that i didn't like
Young Sheldon
