Finished up Peacemaker. Never heard of that guy before, but I also haven't seen any comic book movies besides Iron Man, so whatever. It was a fun show. Now I'm halfway through Task.
I'm also watching Nathan For You streaming on Pluto most days while I work. I watched The Rehearsal and didn't quite get it I guess. I found it interesting and funny in spots. But there's some Nathan For You episodes that are just amazing and hilarious and WTF. I might watch The Curse soon.
I walked into Peacemaker knowing zero about the character and it got a "oh shit, this cool" on my official rating scale.
The Lazarus Project is kinda cool too. On Netflix I think. And there was some other one called Travelers, I think. Palm Springs with Andy Samburg is best thing since Groundhog Day. I guess I'm just into this concept now that I typed this shit out
i enjoyed travelers but felt like they didn’t know where they were going with it. i don’t know if it ever wrapped up, but i got not the time to find out

Did you watch both seasons of The Rehearsal? The first one was good but not amazing. The second one blew my mind in a way maybe no other show ever has.
I watched each twice and appreciated them even more the second time. genius.

HBO Max has a deal for $3/month for a year on the ad-supported tier so I bought that today. We'll see if the ads drive Carmella crazy.
Anyone watched Smiling Friends? I've slogged through like three episodes and I just do not get it. I do not understand why the internet loves it.

Dang, thanks for the news on the $3 deal. I changed over to it. I had it a while back, but it was only for six months.
I don't like what I've seen of Smiling Friends. I've been leaning toward checking out Welcome to Derry, but I've never seen an IT movie and I'm not sure if I care.
just sick with dread and fear and panic for p much the whole episode, marry, my face just scrunched up and tightness in chest the whole time really well done but it's a lot
i remember being taught about two environmental disasters way back in the day this one and i think another one called the love canal in pennsylvania maybe? if my memory serves the water in the love canal was radioactive maybe? i'm assuming chernobyl was massively worse - i just remembered the thing about the wind at the end of the first episode
finished chernobe very powerful and dark and educational great casting when you see the real people at the end i thought there was supposed to be a part in it about the "elephant foot" but i guess i missed it
this show is super highly rated on imdb, gonna be crazy when the chair company surpasses it
Been on A+ lately Going to be caught up shortly on Platonic, Slow Horses, Pluribus. Going to rewatch The Oner episode on The Studio during on the holidays as well Will finish up The Morning Show at some point as well
The show is silly as hell both in the good and bad ways, but it's still fun. Even bad sci-fi shows are good when they have world building primarily, a high quality production/effects secondarily the writing and acting... important but don't exactly have to always shine
just finished season finale of the chair company really liked how all the absurd comedy was also just face value exactly what was happening if that makes sense (it doesn't) - like nothing at all had to be interpreted as a joke, or if you wanted every single thing could be interpreted as a joke (and often was in my mind) so i kind of didn't like that they had to end the season somehow, that was when it finally felt forced imo - they really didn't have to do anything or explain anything but i think if they want season 2 they had to do something like an ending
howbeit is still easily one of my favourite new shows

We've got 2 new ones that we're loving.
Stumble, the misadventures of a juco cheerleading coach and Celebrity Traitors, same format, but random British celebs, most of which I've never heard of, but a few that I recognize.
Stumble is absolutely hilarious. It's in the same style as Parks and Rec, The Office, etc., so lots of fourth wall breakage. Oh yeah, and Kristin Chenoweth plays the rival coach, chewing the scenery in a way that would rival Tim Curry. It seems like the only sitcom that Bash would be interested in. I think he'd totally fanboy it.
Celebrity Traitors is a variation on a theme. If you've seen any of the Traitors seasons, there's nothing new about this one. But, the whacky personalities have been ratcheted up another level. I will continue watching with great delight until they either murder or banish Charlotte Church, at which point I will watch under protest.
