I bribed tan official with 2k euros, and my permanent residency was granted in six weeks. Overall it cost me about $11k. In the end, it was not for me, but I'm glad I did it

If you can prove Greek or Italian ancestry - going back four generations - it can be done quickly. But be warned that NOTHING works. You have to be ressourceful.

MXCD, Jalisco, Nayarit, and Quintana Roo are in high demand and are now as expensive as anywhere in the US. However, the Gulf Coast and Oaxaca are still very reasonable. It's a good choice for people nearing retirement. You need to prove economic solvency, but if you sell your house and combine it with your retirement assets to exceed the $300k USD threshold, it can be done.
