what's funny, and by funny i mean darkly despairing, is watching the same cohorts that got all qanon'd looking at this revelation that they were almost right but that their own guy is heavily implicated as a high level john, and reacting with escalating rhetoric of aggrieved supremacists trying to get each other hyped up to justify mass violence against who they perceive to be the 'out group,' which curiously enough does not include the rich evil pederasts in the ruling epstein class

Iran could be close to enriching uranium for bomb-making material, US envoy Steve Witkoff claims
https://www.jpost.com/middle-east/article-887433
US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff told Fox News on Saturday that Iran could theoretically be about a week away from being able to enrich its existing uranium to a weaponized level, though the envoy left out that Iran currently has no access to its material, no machines to enrich it, and no weapons program to use it for any operational purpose.

“They’re probably a week away from having industrial-grade bomb-making material. And that’s really dangerous. So they can’t have that,” Witkoff said on Fox News’s My View with Lara Trump, clearly wanting to highlight the severity of the potential future nuclear issues should Iran rebuild all the other elements of its nuclear program, which were bombed in June 2025.

U.S. has a quarter fewer immigration judges than it did a year ago. Here's why
https://www.npr.org/2026/02/23/g-s1-110911/trump-immigration-judges-dismissals-numbers
The number of judges in the nation's immigration courts shrunk by about a quarter in the last year due to firings and resignations — even when accounting for new hires. Twelve immigration courts have lost over half of their judges. Many courts are down to skeleton crews to handle thousands of cases; two courts have no judges at all.

In total, the Department of Justice's Executive Office for Immigration Review, or EOIR, lost over 400 legal assistants, attorney advisers and legal administrative specialists, according to data obtained and verified by NPR.
The Trump administration has defended its personnel decisions, saying judges under the Biden administration were too lenient with granting asylum or other statuses to those seeking to stay in the U.S.

They've done this specifically for congressionally appropriated funds for various programs to MN and other states and it's been overturned or never implemented each time.

They'll keep doing it over and over again with other made up rational, but it's all for the show and the cruelty to get compliance and messaging wins.

The Venezuela oil, and oil money is also embattled, but a separate issue.
As of today they want to resell it to Cuba through US firms, instead of the stated use for "use in Venezuela to help create "peace, prosperity and stability." in the Executive emergency order he used to try to block the courts a month ago.
So that opens it up back to the courts in other ways, but foreign affairs are not handled by the same courts and ways in these matters.

The arrest stemmed from an incident in which Shah Alam got lost while on a walk and ended up on the porch of a woman’s home. He had been using a curtain rod as a walking stick, according to his attorney.

The woman called the police, and when Shah Alam did not follow police commands to drop his curtain rod, they tasered and beat him, his attorney said.

He was released on bail, and then transferred to border patrol custody.

Border patrol agents then dropped him off at a Tim Hortons about five miles from his home. Neither his attorney nor his family were notified of his release.

Anthropic rejects latest Pentagon offer: ‘We cannot in good conscience accede to their request’
https://www.cnn.com/2026/02/26/tech/anthropic-rejects-pentagon-offer
Anthropic is rejecting the Pentagon’s latest offer to change their contract, saying the changes do not satisfy the company’s concerns that AI could be used for mass surveillance or in fully autonomous weapons.

The Pentagon and Anthropic are at odds over restrictions the company places on the use of Claude, the first AI system to be used in the military’s classified network.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei on Tuesday that if Anthropic does not allow its AI model to be used “for all lawful purposes,” the Pentagon would cancel Anthropic’s $200 million contract. In addition to the contract cancellation, Anthropic would be deemed a “supply chain risk,” a classification normally reserved for companies connected to foreign adversaries, Pentagon officials said.
The problem with kicking out Anthropic's AI is that it's already integrated into the military's workflow.

On the other hand, a few days ago the DoD made an agreement with Musk to use the Grok AI in classified military systems.
