Holy crap.
TIme flies. I swear we just were talking not long ago but it has been TWO YEARS!

Mike Spurrell, of Cashmere, died on May 4th while on a whitewater rafting trip on the Wenatchee River. The raft he was in flipped and underlying medical conditions contributed to his death. Mike passed while doing something he loved.

Mike leaves behind three children, Pearl (15), Hope (13), and Eden (😎. Of all things in life, he was most proud of his kids. They were the love of his life, and he often would say that he loved his daughters 110%. Mike Spurell was a great, positive, helpful man, and his passing leaves a hole in town.

This Saturday, May 20th there will be a fundraiser for Mike's kids. We'll have live music and a silent auction, already stocked with some amazing donations from local business owners and artisans.
