This is the thread where we talk about Nintendo and Nintendo games and also Intendo games.
Nintendo
I've been replaying Testrisphere on the N64. 2d square tetris just wasn't cutting it anymore.
Oh man I loved Tetrisphere. One of the few games my mom would play as well.
shes p good at tummy sticks
No such thing wild wild west time
help us will smith save us from our transgressies
RetroPie is p good for running emulators but sux for the n64 I haven't been able to get a single title working.
Yay, we're back!
I'm currently enjoying the shit out of Yakuza 0, Life is Strange, Wee 2k25, and Powerwash Simulator 2 on Switch 2 at the moment.
Mainly trying to stick to buying games on sale.

If superstore had them, I was seriously thinking about getting a Switch 2 with my saved up Points. But, we're this many months in and there's still only 2 meaningful games out? (3 on Thursday)
I'll wait

Sad day: after commenting about the next Metroid on the old thread for so long, we don't get to hear TC's thoughts now that Metroid Prime 4 is finally coming out.
I don't think it's calling my name just yet. I did pick up Hitman to play though since it's on sale on the eshop.
It's gonna be a busy holiday season!

Been going games shopping with my nephew while he's over from Australia.
Picked up physicals of GTA Trilogy, Big Kitty Little City, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 for the Switch, and an R4 for my 3DS.
Looking forward to seeing if I can get that going for the 3DS.
I used to love the R4 on my DS when I had one around 2008.
So many good games that have been left to rot in the eshop when that closed down.

Got the Atari 50 collection for Christmas, looking forward to some nostalgia.
I bought my first game key card (Yakuza Kiwami)
It's a bit of a weird vibe.
I mean it works but it's odd to have to download the whole title and use up the memory space for that. BUT still have to go and physically put that cart in your switch to be able to play it.
It kinda involves the worst parts of both physical and digital, weirdly.
That aside though, it's nice to have a case and cart to sit on the shelf if you're that way inclined.
Also, as someone that had never played any Yakuza games before, 2 games in, I'm digging the hell out of this series.
A cool cross between GTA and Saints Row the Third set to a Japan/Yakuza backdrop.
Will definitely keep an eye out for Yakuza 3 on sale at some stage.

When you find out that one the one hand there's a Direct this week.
But on the other hand, it's exclusively for that Tamagotchi Life game...
