About to cook up some scrambled eggs, bacon and pan sausage.
7th breakfast on the night shift yeaahhh boiiiii
oh my, I just said something yesterday about cooking up a big ol' pot of ham and beans with a big pan of cornbread to go with. That sounds spectacular. Do you give yours a little bit of lemon juice after you dish it up?
No but that's intriguing.
if you put a ham hock in a pot of beans its bound to taste good
At my house I have initiated a "breakfast for dinner monday" it is kind of nice to setup a dedicated night where pancakes sausage/bacon and eggs can feed the soul.
Breakfast for dinner is always a winner.
I've had either tendies or Mac and cheese for dinner every night for the last week...

It recently got below freezing for about 30 seconds, so this weekend, I'll be making some Sausage Gravy and biscuits.
chicken salad with cranberries and walnuts on a spinach wrap
I bought my Thanksgiving turkey today, and I'm smoking a practice turkey today.
The practice was mostly just seeing how long it took to thaw, because last year the bitch ass turkey was still frozen Thanksgiving morning.
i guess you could say, you needed longer than you thawedt
I had my sausage gravy and biscuits. It was delicious.
Practice turkey was a good idea. It thawed in the fridge for 10 days and there was still a tiny bit of ice on the bottom of the package, but the bird was fully thawed. The internet says 4 days for a 16 lb turkey, which is a HUGE LIE FROM BIG FREEZY!
Also this turkey went a little hot and fast, so I'll make some adjustments on Thanksgiving. It looks BEAUTIFUL, though, like a GAZBOO!!!
4 days for a 16 lb turkey is if you leave it on the counter not in the fridge
this year we are gonna go get a succulent Japanese meal
either day before or day of thxgiving
and just make pies and whatnots for later
Gots veggie beef soup in the crock pot, loads of barley
How Mike’s Hot Honey Drizzled Its Way Into Our Heartshttps://slate.com/life/2025/11/mikes-hot-honey-near-me-ingredients-pizza-recipes.htmlFood & Wine asked why it was “everywhere” this year, while back in 2022, Mashed declared hot honey was “heating up like never before.” In 2021, Nation’s Restaurant News made note of the sweet heat trend sweeping the nation, while in 2020, Yahoo said hot honey was the hot trend to try on everything. Even back in 2015, CBS said the product was creating a “condiment craze.”
I've never had Mike’s Hot Honey.
I discovered this while vacationing in Barbados. It is delicious on
everything.

Well that didn't work. Guess pasting gifs doesn't work like images.
Just realized I hadn't eaten breakfast, so I ate a stroopwafel.
