well they're rich so it's okay.
honestly surprised weinstein got in as much trouble as he did, looking back.
cosby was quietly released from prison after having a bunch of his convictions overturned.
seems like maybe, just maybe, the justice system isn't interested in prosecuting these people for some reason.

the best you can hope to get from these people is they blacklist one of their own and refuse to work with them.
in which case that person just hops on over to a daily wire film ecosystem and continues to make more money than you'll ever see pumping out trash made by nazis purely for financial fraud reasons.
the system works

The Return of Charlie Kirk: Your Necks
This reminded me that I went to school with both Jodie Foster and Christopher Castile.
They were not well liked, but for very different reasons.

i went to school with a couple people who ended up doing minor stints in the NFL (texas)
dumbest, grossest motherfuckers to ever do it

Isn't Jodie Foster in her 60s?
i think one of them now works in their father in law's financial whatever firm as some kind of decorative VP
hope he gets Send Help'd by a frumpy workmouse

Did you mistake one for the other or were you just fumbling names.
Bring your seven year old self on set, let's get to the bottom of this.

I remember this also being an issue lol
xennial high-five
Wasn't really into sports or music as a kid... and so constantly hearing those Michael J (Fox?) names all through the early/mid 90s but not always pairing with a face, just sort of took forever to nail down which was which reliably.
And, yeah, Space Jam probably settled it in 96 when I was 10
I got Eddie Murray and Eddie Murphy confused but that came up less often.
i get jennifer jason leigh mixed up with mary stuart masterson
because three names
is that anything

I still get Jimmy Scallion, Jimmy Shallot, and Jimmy Scallop confused.
its easy to confuse them cause two of them have real similar haircuts
The last movie I watched was Apex on Netflix. The new Furiosa and Elton John action thriller. Eric Banana makes a surprise appearance at the beginning.
It was okay. I liked Elton John's Australian accent.
Was violent enough to carry itself through.
Ending was fine.
Nothing special.

I think I liked it more than Jack Reacher Fights A Big Robot, which was the last Netflix action thriller I recall, which I liked more than J-Lo Fights A Big Robot Using A Big Robot. I'd rank that third among those three Netflix action thrillers.
man, i got super excited for a second
a second is all it takes, huh? haha gottem
They Will Kill You
That movie came out a week after Ready or Not 2, which still isn't fucking streaming.

i'm watching now you see me now you don't the third part in these movies
i remember thinking the first two were fun no brainer entertainment
but i'm starting to notice (halfway through this one) every single line, comment, nod, exasperation is done in the "no one actually speaks or acts like that in real life" dramatic way
also concurrently watching before sunset which is classic linklater dialogue throughout, maybe not quite as smooth as slacker, but the contrast with nysmnyd is stark

I love the Before trilogy so much. I watch Slacker every once in a while for the nostalgia.
Dazed is likely my favorite movie.

HOW CAN IT SLAP

Okay, finally finished The Uninvited (2009).
It's good! The reveal was a bit deflating because Evil Elizabeth Banks was doing a number on me.
It was one of those twists that was like okay but if that was the case why were you all acting so goddamn weird.
Still, looked amazing, well-acted, always fun to feel like you're losing your mind.

Spoiler
mark ruffalo was part of the team the whole time and like okay but then how come when you were alone you were still acting like you very much were not and pretending, for no one, to investigate a thing you already knewi'd just call it bad writing
if you like evil elizabeth banks, check out the 2017 power rangers.
it bombed HARD when it came out, but i think it's a shame,
because it nailed the assignment.
i mean, come on
