Never forget the time an anarchist told me re: slurs to "kill the cop inside your head".
What Are You Streamin? - the shitty shows thread
that's really great advice for someone
Euphoria 3x2
I don't even know what this show is anymore. Mostly not liking it (I'll keep watching).
Zendaya is carrying it, of course. She's fucking incredible.
Finally seeing Jules again was kinda underwhelming.
Seeing Eric Dane clearly not well was not great.

The tripod dog named Lieutenant Dan cracked me the hell up.

I didn't think he'd make an appearance.
I'm glad he did but also kind of scared to see it

wasn't there like a 5-10 second really chill theme song at the beginning of each ep?
they don't seem to be doing that anymore (i just started this week's episode)
but maybe they'll dramatically bring it back for the season finale or an important episode, sorry for the speculation spoiler

I went back to last season to check intros, but didn't really find what you're talking about.wasn't there like a 5-10 second really chill theme song at the beginning of each ep?
First season?
She learned how to cycle through forty faces and poses in a minute, she understands body as instrument, she's heard worse things from photogs and agents talking about her like she's not there, she's basically invincible. Also she's with Tom the Theatre Kid so she's just arts-domming twenty-four seven.
Man, I didn't even know she was a model in the past. Starting as a child can't be easy.
That's some thick skin if you can handle it.

she also had some pop album(s?) in her teens i think
i didn't know of her until euphoria
and my life has been a mess since

Same. Maybe not for the same reasons.
i don't want to make a priapism joke rn
There are a lot of scenes where Rue is not essential but Zendaya is so funny that you're not sure you'd watch it without her.
"Jul?"
"Jul?"

yeah i couldn't find it either but it might be something to do with labyrinth (a musician i don't think i was aware of) leaving the show? i don't know that's from vague googling and i don't have time to read up more at this time
like how dawson's creek lost their "i don't wanna wait for this life to be over" theme music
i didnt realize labrinth left the show
and hans zimmer is scoring it now??? tf
sam might have lost the plot
labrinth was easily one of the best aspects of the show

wasn't she a child actor
yes, she modeled like for a minute inbetween Shakespeare plays and being a Disney star at 13.
finished the second episode and am invested in these storylines
way more than the first two seasons for sum reason. . .
altho listening to "forever" by labrinth right now it's reminding me of all the painful moments, painful or powerful from the first seasons that i guess my eye-roll-amnesia had blanked away to make room for my complaining about other things in the show

Totally remember that, yeah. 1x1. Jules on the bike.
Oh damn, Beef is back with Season 2 after a three year gap.
I really wanna start From cause it looks and sounds awesome, but I am afraid it will Lost itself to oblivion, and/or get canceled. Anyone watching that one?
looks like it’s planned for a fifth and final season. here’s hoping that means they will wrap it up nicely and not Lost it, but the first season sure felt reminiscent
that show is pretty cool except for being so fucking boring
that is still an absolutely wild take lol
did you sleep through 99% of it?

not talking about From
that one went pretty bad pretty fast for me

I really tried that first season. I sat through it, I tried to follow it.
I just hated working in a hotel and I think that the whole time I was watching I was like, GOD THIS SUCKS.
And then it was boring as fuck.

oh you have hospitality trauma
makes sense i guess
makes sense i guess
But even the things that were supposed to be funny or edgy weren't.
I sat through that entire goddamn season of boring shit for a payoff that never came.
HBO likes to repeat mistakes coughgameofthronescough.

my favorite character was the maitre d so i had little interest in following the hotel to later seasons. Also i didn't really like where his story went.
i would have preferred a series built around his character from like the first half of season 1, and the story was just about that guy managing outrageous and unreasonable guests played by a rotating cast of celebrity cameos or something.

so basically a totally different show that doesn't exist so whatever i don't fucking matter
that show is typical hollywood liberal bullshit, how come there's no WHITE L- wait hang on.
"look how problematic all these other rich white people are"

It even has Lost actors in it, so...
Also waiting for Foundation to finish, and not jump the space shark. I hear it's still good? The do The Mule yet?
I have been half watching Foundation because boyhusband likes it.
I think it got better than it was.
But it was pretty fucking brutal.

Do you watch it while you do your chobbling?
I’m not sure if I should say.

it's still very good television, but i actually think it's undermined by the revelations of the sequel seasons...
like, good twists should make it MORE fun to rewatch what led up to them
but with this show, it's like, oh, ok, i know why the lights are doing that
and it just makes it less interesting
