yeah i couldn't find it either but it might be something to do with labyrinth (a musician i don't think i was aware of) leaving the show? i don't know that's from vague googling and i don't have time to read up more at this time

finished the second episode and am invested in these storylines
way more than the first two seasons for sum reason. . .
altho listening to "forever" by labrinth right now it's reminding me of all the painful moments, painful or powerful from the first seasons that i guess my eye-roll-amnesia had blanked away to make room for my complaining about other things in the show

I really tried that first season. I sat through it, I tried to follow it.
I just hated working in a hotel and I think that the whole time I was watching I was like, GOD THIS SUCKS.

my favorite character was the maitre d so i had little interest in following the hotel to later seasons. Also i didn't really like where his story went.

i would have preferred a series built around his character from like the first half of season 1, and the story was just about that guy managing outrageous and unreasonable guests played by a rotating cast of celebrity cameos or something.

it's still very good television, but i actually think it's undermined by the revelations of the sequel seasons...
like, good twists should make it MORE fun to rewatch what led up to them
but with this show, it's like, oh, ok, i know why the lights are doing that
and it just makes it less interesting
