Good morning
I just sat looking at my blurry monitor for a little bit waiting for it to come into focus cause I just turned it on, you see.
Then I was like oh right, my glasses.
So I am GOOD. TO. GO.

My friend ordered giant tortoise eggs from africa, and actually got four of them to hatch. One survived for two years and then for its best health we gave him to a zoo.

Oscar the tortoise not my friend.

Rainy couple of days here, which is great. I had to get new septic drain fields installed so the lawn got torn to hell. Hucked a ton of grass seed all over it though, and it's already coming up

We have a ton, literally of sand in our yard from construction last year and im looking for something that will grow over it. Any thoughts?

I just used this "contractors mix". For prep I just ran a rake across the dirt to create some channels and chucked it by hand. Couldn't bring myself to drop $49 for a seed spreading thingy.
My yard is quite sandy. Florida's pretty much just a big sand bar after all

papavers could do well.
(breadseed/opium poppies)
you may need to turn your soil over to mix the sand in a bit to have a more balanced medium, but they love good drainage and sandy soil.

And they make a nice tea for the achy back after all the gardening ;)

Thank you for the suggestions. Here is to hoping something takes. its literally a sand dune from the contractors. Like, 12 ft deep. Why? Because they are idiots
