i love this gd time of year

most of the trees are bare now after all the rain
but our red maple and big gingkos are juuuust post peak and beginning to carpet the backyard with intense red and yellow.

i managed to go get a 🌲, rake most of the maple and gingko leaves, and put the exterior furniture away. Only other thing that needs to happen before winter really sets in is get some lights on the tree out front

then i can truly stop giving a frig and let the moss grow
