Bizarre.

I have downloaded Librewolf, tested a login/out from this account and created a new account and logged into/out of it multiple times successfully.

Loaded up Firefox, opened an incognito window and was able to login/out from this account and create a new account and login/out of it multiple times successfully.

I am at a complete loss.

I'm still mystified that the [=] buttons are here, like at least 15 years after I wrote them in a greasemonkey script

Is there any chance we can get just slightly fancier javascript that positions the text cursor after using them, and for that matter, the other buttons and ctrl-b and stuff?

I had a lot more written out, but I think it just makes sense to always position the text cursor after the = if you click the Url's [=] or Quote's [=]

For the rest of the buttons, I think they work great when text is highlighted, but if you press one with no text highlighted, it would be great if it positioned the text cursor between the ][

If you have text highlighted and you press [B] or Ctrl-B that works great, but if I know I want the next word I write to be bold, I press Ctrl-B and then have to left-arrow my way back like 4 spaces...

This is obviously very unimportant :)
